The hotel has a total of 45 guest rooms and offers a unique combination of classic elegance and modern comfort. The rooms are available in several categories, from simple single rooms to spacious double rooms and suites, so you can find what best suits your stay.

Just 50 metres from the main building is our newly built annexe, which houses 39 modern, elegant and stylish rooms. All rooms have been thoughtfully furnished with both aesthetics and functionality in mind, and are equipped with comfortable beds, a beautiful maritime bathroom, a desk, TV and free WiFi.

In the main building from 1883, our remaining 6 rooms are located, including both of our King Suites.

Our hotel offers flexible meeting rooms for groups of 2 to 180 people, and the facilities are equipped with modern AV technology such as projectors, screens, TV screens, sound systems, and Wi-Fi.

Several of our meeting rooms can be adapted as needed, whether you want a classroom setup, cinema setup, group setup, or U-table setup. Close to the premises, you will find comfortable break areas with plenty of space for mingling, coffee breaks, and light refreshments. We offer everything from simple coffee and fruit to complete lunches and dinners. We also have good options for social activities and accommodation.

Our dedicated staff have extensive experience in facilitating both small and large events. We are happy to assist you with everything from room setup and technical support, to menu choices and break schedules.

There are good parking facilities at Hotel Karljohansvern, with both short-term and long-term parking available in the area.

The hotel is centrally located on Karljohansvern in Horten and is easy to reach by car. If you're arriving by public transport, it's a short distance from bus connections in Horten town centre and a pleasant walk from there out to the area.
